About Christian Child Center

It is our philosophy at Christian Child Center that preschool children learn best by developing a positive image of self, God and the world around them. Social interaction, physical development, spiritual awareness, and readiness skills all play an integral role in our curriculum. This sound early childhood education is set in a distinctively Christian context where Bible stories and verses, as well as Christian love and respect for others are integrated into daily activities. "A Wonderful Place To Be!”

CCC

Christian Child Center has been a Seminole County Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) provider since 2006. CCC consistently scores among the highest Kindergarten Readiness Rates in Seminole County, Please contact us or visit the Seminole County VPK website for more details.

Class Sizes and Child-to-Teacher Ratios

At Christian Child Center we believe that small class sizes and low teacher-to-child ratios increase the quality of care and education children receive. Each class at CCC has a lead teacher and an assistant teacher in order to best meet the individual needs of each and every child.
Christian Child Center is licensed by the state of Florida (Certificate #C18SE0086) and meets or exceeds all of the requirements established by the Department of Children and Families. Our VPK program is monitored by the Seminole County Early Learning Coalition.

Heather Swisher is the Assistant Director of Christian Child Center. She is a Florida native, having been born in Miami and residing in Longwood for the past 45 years. Heather went to college in South Carolina on a fast pitch softball scholarship, before returning to the Orlando area to graduate from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Journalism.

Heather and Rob joined the church 28 years ago because they wanted to be a part of a close-knit community nearby to home. Heather sat on the Christian Child Center board for 3 years while her children attended and graduated from CCC. Because of the high quality preschool education and wonderful atmosphere, Heather decided to join the CCC staff in 2009.
