Two's/ Almost Three's
Our 2’s/Almost 3’s program includes creative lessons that encourage self-expression through music and movement, sensory activities, art, dramatic play, stories, games, and outdoor play. Children learn through their play and by participating in hands-on activities in both small and large groups. They are introduced to letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. Language development, social/emotional skills, and self-help abilities are emphasized.

Meet The Teachers
Mrs. Betsy Spencer
Almost Three's Lead Teacher (Staff Member Since 1996)
Betsy Spencer is the Almost 3’s Teacher at Christian Child Center. She was born and raised in Westhampton Beach on Long Island. Shortly after marrying, Betsy and her husband Rick relocated to Cranbury, New Jersey, where Betsy enjoyed a successful career as a corporate travel agent before the birth of her daughter, Megan and son, Eric. Betsy joined the CCC staff after Rick’s business brought the family to Longwood. Betsy credits this move to helping her find her niche, mentoring, teaching, and nurturing the students at CCC.
Mrs. Leigh Ann Sellers
Two's Lead Teacher (Staff Member Since 2012)
Leigh Ann Sellers is the 2’s Teacher at Christian Child Center. She is originally from Tennessee (Go Vols!) but has lived in Florida for the past 35 years. Leigh Ann attended Barry University in Miami on a basketball scholarship and graduated with a Biology degree. Eventually, Leigh Ann spent eight years as an 8th grade math teacher in Orange County. She is married and the mother of two wonderful children. Both of her children attended CCC and fell in love with the warm, caring atmosphere. Leigh Ann began to substitute at CCC while her daughter and son were enrolled, and eventually became a Pre-K Assistant. Leigh Ann is excited to be the lead teacher with the 2’s and has enjoyed getting to know families and watching children grow and thrive in the same environment where her own children grew up.
Ms. Kristie Morse
Two's Assistant (Staff Member Since 2021)
Kristie Morse is the 2's Assistant at Christian Child Center. Kristie is a native Floridian, born in New Smyrna Beach. She lived in Denver, Colorado and attended Metropolitan State College. Kristie returned to beautiful Florida to be close to her family and has lived in the Longwood area for the past 15 years. She is a member of Wekiva Presbyterian Church. Kristie has two children, both whom are CCC graduates! She joined the staff after seeing the incredible educational and caring experience her children received at CCC. Kristie feels blessed to be a part of the CCC family and looks forward to providing the best in early childhood education.
Mrs. Zdravka Sheller
Almost Three's Assistant (Staff Member Since 2021)
Zdravka Sheller is an Almost Three's Assistant at Christian Child Center. Zdravka grew up in Bulgaria which is a small, yet beautiful country in Eastern Europe. She moved to the United States in 2000 to learn English and explore new opportunities. She graduated from Widner University, just outside of Philadelphia and received a degree in Hospitality Management, which gave her the opportunity to travel and work in Europe and the United States. Zdravka, her husband and two children moved to Florida 6 years ago after several long and cold winters with the kids in the North. Her family enjoys traveling, camping, soccer and gymnastics. Both of her children attended CCC, an amazing school that they enjoyed so much. Zdravka began subbing for CCC after they graduated, and is so happy to be an assistant for the Almost 3's class. She loves watching the children grow and helping them flourish.
Registration for enrollment is held in February for the following school year. Subsequent enrollments will be accepted until the class limit is reached. Additional names will be accepted for a wait list to be notified in the event space becomes available. Currently enrolled students and siblings will be given priority for enrollment in the following school year.
Enrollment Forms Children attending CCC must have all enrollment and medical forms completed and on file by the child's first day of attendance. Parents are responsible for assuring that the information supplied is kept current.
