Our 2’s/Almost 3’s program includes creative lessons that encourage self-expression through music and movement, sensory activities, art, dramatic play, stories, games, and outdoor play. Children learn through their play and by participating in hands-on activities in both small and large groups. They are introduced to letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. Language development, social/emotional skills, and self-help abilities are emphasized.

Hours are from 9:00 to 1:30 p.m. (Exceptional hours are set for 3-day VPK class.) Pickup time is 1:30 p.m., with late pickup charges incurred at 1:35 p.m.

Early Bird Drop Off is at 8:00 a.m. with reservations required.

Saati Shields is the 2's Teacher at Christian Child Center. Saati grew up in Long Island, NY. She attended Fordham University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Saati worked as a purchasing manager for a pharmaceutical company for several years before moving to Florida with her husband and two children in 2016. In Florida, Saati is able to be closer to the grandparents and enjoy family life. Saati is a member of Annunciation Catholic Church and the St. Anne's Ministry of Moms. She joined the ministry to meet and connect with other moms of faith. Saati enrolled her son at CCC and because of the wonderful school environment, she decided to join the CCC staff. She earned her CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) from Seminole State College in 2020. Saati is happy to be a part of the CCC community to create a great experience for her students. She hopes to be a part of that same blessing for other families.

Leigh Ann Sellers is the Almost three's Teacher at Christian Child Center. She is originally from Tennessee (Go Vols!) but has lived in Florida for the past 37 years. Leigh Ann attended Barry University in Miami on a basketball scholarship and graduated with a Biology degree. Eventually, Leigh Ann spent eight years as an 8th grade math teacher in Orange County. She is married and the mother of two wonderful children. Both of her children attended CCC and fell in love with the warm, caring atmosphere. Leigh Ann began to substitute at CCC while her daughter and son were enrolled, and eventually became a Pre-K Assistant. Leigh Ann was a 2's lead teacher for several years and is excited to be the lead teacher with the Almost Three's. She has enjoyed getting to know families and watching children grow and thrive in the same environment where her own children grew up.

Brandy Anderson is the 2's Assistant at Christian Child Center. She grew up in Amherst, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in marketing. Brandy moved to Orlando and worked in various marketing positions until she met her husband. They relocated to California, and Brandy became a stay-at-home mom when their daughter, Kaleigh, was born. Brandy was very involved in Kaleigh's school for many years, serving on PTA Board, volunteering in the classroom, and planning school events. After returning to Florida, Brandy decided to put her school experience to work, and join the CCC staff. She enjoys getting to know her students and watching them learn and grow.

Kendra Bohlender is the Almost Three's Assistant and the Adventure Tuesday Assistant at Christian Child Center. Kendra feels blessed to be a part of the CCC family and looks forward to providing the best in early childhood education.

Zdravka Sheller is an Almost Three's Assistant at Christian Child Center. Zdravka grew up in Bulgaria which is a small, yet beautiful country in Eastern Europe. She moved to the United States in 2000 to learn English and explore new opportunities. She graduated from Widner University, just outside of Philadelphia and received a degree in Hospitality Management, which gave her the opportunity to travel and work in Europe and the United States. Zdravka, her husband and two children moved to Florida 8 years ago after several long and cold winters with the kids in the North. Her family enjoys traveling, camping, soccer and gymnastics. Both of her children attended CCC, an amazing school that they enjoyed so much. Zdravka began subbing for CCC after they graduated, and is so happy to be an assistant for the Almost 3's class. She loves watching the children grow and helping them flourish.
